Egg Shell Carving

I came across this video while checking for some ideas I have on an eggshell mosaic.  I had some blown out eggs, and fresh ones so went to try my hand at it.

Some things I learned.

DON’T try it on an unblown out egg
DON”T use a dremel that has a wobbly attachment

DO use a dust mask
DO wear latex gloves (even if its just to keep your hands from drying out)
DO have patience.

I have to try this again but I think I will try the method where I reinforce the shell first.  The eggs I can get are probably factory farmed which means thin shells.  I can definately see the potential though, and it looks like something I could get easily absorbed in.
